Who... is the VEP program for?
- The VEP Program is designed for Middle School and High School aged students.
VEP students will participate in inclusive activities throughout the day.
Our VEP Program Instructor is Erlinda Cruz-Quintero. Erlinda graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences with a minor in Special Education. She has extensive experience working with individuals with special needs as well as assistive technology. Andrew Weger works as para-educator in the VEP program. He is pursuing degrees in Speech and Communication Disorders and has experience working at The Listening Center as well as working one-on-one with children in an inclusive sports program.
When...is the VEP program?
- When is the Voc Ed Prep Program?
The VEP Program operates daily from 9:00am-2:30pm. Students may attend anywhere between 1-5 days per week.
Our After School AT Lab is Wednesdays 3-5.
There is a monthly fee for the Voc Ed Program:
1 day each week: $100/month
2 days each week: $200/month
3 days each week: $300/month
4 days each week: $400/month
5 days each week: $500/month

What...is the VEP program?
- The VEP Program combines Life Skills, Career Skills, and Technology in a unique and innovative environment. Each student has a VIP, Vocational Independence Plan, specifically outlining his/her goals. These goals may include learning certain independent living skills, developing an online business, or utilizing assistive technology tools.
- The AT Lab is a component of the Voc Ed Program in which therapists and tutors support students through assistive technology devices. To learn more about our after school AT Lab, please click here.
Where...is the VEP program?
- The VEP Program is onsite at Hope Technology School in our specially designed classroom complete with technology , cooking, laundry, food services and classroom tools.
How...do I apply for the VEP program?
- Download and submit application. Upon receipt of your application we will contact you for an intake interview.
